16 This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16
The Culbokie Church Centre exists to point people to God and to shape people’s lives so that everything we do and say emulates Jesus’ life and ministry, and especially how he related to, and influenced, everyone around him. That means being a congregation that takes the Gospel message of God’s forgiveness and mercy seriously, and then living out our faith in a way that links us to the community as well as to everyone around us. But we also want to be a people that recognises and makes seeking and worshipping God a priority, and that highlights Christ’s singularly important role in opening the way for us know God in a deeply personal way that draws us closer to Christ and then helps us see what God is doing in, and through, our lives.
We realize that not everyone is ready to take that step, and that some people are a bit skeptical toward the church, and whether or not God is really there. We also recognise that there are many people out there who either already have a relationship with God, or who may be taking the first steps toward actively seeking a connection and a link to God. Regardless of where you are in that journey, it’s our sincere hope that you feel encouraged, challenged, and welcomed to experience life and faith together with us.
